Posted Date: 08/28/26 (09:09 AM)

As we commence with the 2026 sports season, please remember that attendance and participation in these events are a privilege, not a right. We are all there to support and encourage the players and participants not only on the field but those that worked to make these games and events a memorable experience. Please remind your child of the following expectations when attending Central Valley High School football games:
-
Sportsmanship
- Cheer for our Warriors, not against the other team.
- Show respect for players, coaches, referees, cheerleaders, and band members from both schools.
- Do not use chants, signs, or gestures that are negative, not proper, or offensive.
-
Behavior
- Stay in the student area of the bleachers or sit with your parents. Only leave to use the restrooms or concession stands.
- Do not hang around the gates, concession areas, restroom area, or any of the parking lots.
- Students are not allowed past the restroom area.
- Do not stand or play on the hill near the concession stand.
- Do not run around or play tag.
- No touching or rough play.
- Follow all school rules: no vaping, smoking, or bad language.
-
Respect for the Game
- Stand, remove hats, and be quiet during the National Anthem.
- Join in cheers, chants, and school spirit activities led by cheerleaders or student leaders.
- Keep aisles and walkways clear at all times.
-
Safety & Supervision
- Follow directions from administrators, police, security, and event staff.
- Students cannot bring or throw any type of ball.
- Do not throw objects, climb fences, or enter the field.
- Students cannot come back in after they leave the stadium.
-
Representing Central Valley
- Show pride by wearing school colors and cheering in a positive way.
- Remember, what you do shows what our whole school and community are like.
