Planning Ahead: Central Valley School District Adjusts School Hours for Upcoming Year

The Central Valley School District will have updated start and end times for all schools beginning with the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The changes are designed to improve transportation efficiency while continuing to provide a high-quality educational experience for students across the district. The new school schedules are:

Central Valley High School: 7:20 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.

Central Valley Middle School: 8:00 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.

Todd Lane Elementary and Center Grange Primary: 9:15 a.m. - 3:50 p.m.

Although the start and end times have changed, the length of the instructional day remains consistent, ensuring students continue to receive the same amount of instructional time. The district encourages families to review the new schedule and plan morning and afternoon routines accordingly. Updated transportation information, including bus pickup and drop-off times, will be communicated to families in August before the start of the school year. 

The district appreciates the cooperation and flexibility of our students, families, and staff as these adjustments are implemented. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
